Moraga Launches $15,000 ADU Rebate Program for Homeowners

Great news for Moraga homeowners! The Town of Moraga Planning Department has officially launched the Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Accelerator Program, offering rebates of up to $15,000 for eligible residents who are planning to build an ADU on their property.

This exciting initiative is part of a pilot program funded by former Senator Steve Glazer, aimed at supporting the construction of 350 new ADUs across 15 cities and towns in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties. Moraga has been awarded a designated share of these funds — but they’ll only be available for a limited time.

Whether you're building an ADU for extended family, rental income, or extra space, this program could help offset your costs. With high demand and limited funds, early application is strongly encouraged!
